Music Companion Training Program.

A Music Companion is not a therapist.
Not a clinician.
Not a problem-solver.

A Music Companion offers something simpler —
and often more powerful:

Presence.
Listening.
Shared moments through music.

Through gentle musical experiences,
Music Companions help create emotional safety,
human connection,
and a sense of being seen.

🎓 What You Will Learn

This training program focuses on ethical, non-clinical, community-based companionship.

Participants will learn:

✔ The boundaries and ethics of non-medical music companionship
✔ How music supports emotional regulation and connection
✔ How to listen without judgment or fixing
✔ Companion approaches for seniors, individuals living alone, newcomers, and those experiencing emotional distress
✔ How to care for others while also caring for yourself

No musical background is required.
Only compassion and commitment.

• Earn Care Bank time-based service credits through participation
